Pedestrian Park Pedestrian parks, about 1 acre in size, are designed to provide open space and recreational opportunities for residents within a three- to four-block radius of their homes. These pocket parks, located within each village, are planned to feature amenities such as tot lots, picnic areas and grassy fields, providing a great spot for after-work relaxation, children's birthday parties and small get-togethers.
